What is Catalyst Creates CIC?

Catalyst Creates.....CIC is the sister company of Catalyst Theatre Arts. As a Community Interest Company we develop and deliver creative participative projects to children, young people and their families, adults and older people in the East Midlands, with particular emphasis on work in Northamptonshire.

Why Catalyst Creates?

Providing opportunities for people to engage with professional artists through participative workshops, residencies and projects benefits communities enormously. Catalyst Creates CIC was born to enable us to provide opportunities for those small community organisations and groups who do not have the resources to bring in specialists like us to deliver exciting and much needed projects and activities for them.

Projects

	Tunes, Tales and Twirls was funded by the Vulnerable Familes Fund, anabling us to to set up a new project for families with young disabled children in Autumn 2011. Sessions were well received and we the valuable evidence we obtained supported our successful application to Youth Music Find out more here
	Our second project The Spirit Of The Games ran during summer 2012 where we worked with children from Weedon Bec Primary and Billing Brook Schools. The project centred around the Values of the Olympic, Paralympic and Special Olympic Games and brought the two schools together to share work and celebrate achievements and differences. 	Kicking off National Storytelling Week, The Great Story Share is bringing together members from across a local community. Working with children from two primary schools and a local residential care home, we are sharing stories from other cultures and generations in lots of different ways. Find out more here

How you can support our work

We are always looking for volunteers, young, old and inbetween to help out in our projects. If you are interested and have a few hours free, please get in touch.

If time is not something that you have much of, you can support us in other ways!

You can donate to Catalyst Creates directly through Localgiving.com.
